Chipotle Burgers
Chipotle Burgers
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 chipotle en adobo, finely chopped (canned)
Pickle slices, cherry tomatoes and mini peppers (optional))
Ingredients:
2 pounds lean ground beef chuck1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 chipotle en adobo, finely chopped (canned)
Pickle slices, cherry tomatoes and mini peppers (optional))
Directions:
Preheat a grill or broiler.
In a large bowl, combine ground chuck, steak sauce and salt.
Form into eight 4-inch patties.
Grill patties, or broil 6-inches from heat source, 5 minutes per side for medium-rare doneness.
Two minutes before the burgers are done, top with cheese.
Meanwhile, combine mayonnaise and chipotle in a small bowl.
Serve burgers with chipotle mayo, along with pickle slices, tomato and peppers, if desired.
