Topic: Contact List
For those who are confortable posting it (this is a private group on OH), I'd like to make a contact list. Just with phone numbers and/or email addresses.
As I mentioned to Deanna in our last meeting, and the same goes for anyone who needs it. I am more than happy and willing to deliver/pick-up anyone for their surgery, when the time comes. Just give me a call and let me know when!

Hang in there Marianne. I think we are all feeling the downfall and saddness of not having our weekly group meets. Isn't it funny how at the beginning, we all dreaded the idea of 24 weeks of meetings, but at the end, we all looked forward to them!!
You did an amazing job to get within 10lbs of your 10%, don't lose focus! Keep up your good work! We are all still here, just keystroke away!

Hi everyone-
sorry I'm so late. Last week I was at 273.5. On 4/14 I was 274.9. It was a let down at the end of the meeting because we were working for our goal of 10% and I did come in with under 10 lbs. to go (started at 296.5) but I guess knowing I still have to wait made me lose focus.
A typical day for me is 1 egg and 1 egg white omelette with onion and bell pepper and one slice of fat free cheese eaten between a sandwich thin or bagel thin or with a half a grapefruit. I have a protein snack-bar, shake, lindora pudding, hot chocolate, tomato soup or soy nuts mid-morning, mid afternoon and evening. I have a salad with lettuce, tomato, chicken or tuna for lunch and usually dinner. I have been obsessed with popcorn recently so have been going to the movies and eating a large popcorn and feeling really bad, but repeating. I also am a big sweet and nut person so am always tempted.
This week has been my spring break so I haven't been exercising and that doesn't help. I also ate a hamburger and fries-twice, a tub of popcorn and made a trip to Souplantatipn. Since our final program weight is at our fitness test I am a little nervous and plan to get back on track this coming week.
I am so proud of all of us for taking action to go toward our goal. Talk to you next time.

hello ladies
Highest weight 257.8, current weight 255.1. I'm not calling it a weight loss yet. I fluctuate 3-4 pounds from day to day.
Went to the doctor today to get new meds for my asthma. Hoping to kick my exercise into turbo drive. YAY...now I have two inhalers and a nose spray.
Started Nutri System today....I was so excited to dig into my cinnamon roll for breakfast BUT when I opened the package it was the size of the top of a beer can. I was so flippin hungry when I got home today. Now I have a granola bar, minestrone soup, 2 yogurts, a veggie burger, 2 cups of carrots with peanut butter, a pizza, a whole cantaloupe, salad with fat free dressing, and a tomato to eat!!! I don't think I can get it all in. NOTE TO SELF: don't ever (and I mean ever) forget your lunch again.
Good Luck ya'll
Becca

Topic: RE: San Diego Rep at Lyceum...1 woman Play
hi Becca....oh yes, I understand. I can tell you for sure though, that when you stand back years from now and look at those wonderful adults that you put so much time into, you will be HAPPY and PROUD. whenever you are ready to go to a play...let me know...hugz:)Deanna
Topic: RE: San Diego Rep at Lyceum...1 woman Play
I would love to go do something sometime. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE plays and musicals!!!!!! I go to the Moonlight Ampithatre in Vista and watch the plays during the summer. We get a group, bring in our own wine and food, get grass seats cuz they are cheap (plus, the theatre provides lawn chairs). The shows there are so impressive. Let's go for sure.
Right now is my super busy time. My daughter plays softball, competative soccer, spring soccer, and is training for her school track meet. My middle son, is training for the track meet, plays baseball and umpires. My oldest, plays volleyball, arena soccer and he umpires and referees. I am up to 9 clients now (HOORAY $$$$) and I am team mom for my son's baseball team (AKA: slack picker upper for our 27 year old pain in the ass coach), and financial manager for my daughters traveling soccer team. Oh, I forgot the gardener and the housekeeper too (the kids help some, but it's more work getting them to do it than it is to just put them on restriction for not doing their chores!) WAAAAAAAAAAA....poor me. LOL
By the end of June, my life is calm and relaxing...stress free. I'll be more than ready to do something fun

Topic: RE: help is on the way!
I have been doing Lindora which is a moderate protein, low carb plan. I go twice a week to get weighed in and although you can eat your own food, they have yummy bars and puddings. The only problem now it I have to go to Del Mar which is 20 miles out of the way. I felt a let down after the last meeting-to start the waiting game again so I'm glad we'll meet on line on Thursdays.
