Topic: fitness walk/dr's appointment
Hi everyone-

I just got scheduled for my fitness walk.  I know that Sian said she had her Dr.'s appointment scheduled.  Anyone else?

hi Becca.....I love all 3 of those shows. I'll be in HA for Forever Plaid. Sian, this is a really cool show...you should go!!!I even got to be the one called up from the audience once to play the piano and the cast had to actually LIFT my hands off of the keys cause I was wailing. I would LOVE to see Wicked.....I've performed several of the pieces with students through out the years so it's probably time to see the show. I would be happy with lawn seating if I can make it to one of the Moonlight shows. I've never been to the theatre up there so I'll look at my calendar.....take care friends....:)Deanna

I love going to the theatre. It was something that I did with my mum when I was a little girl (even into my teen years). I studied music throughout my school years and always had a good appreciation for musicals.

I've not heard about the one woman show Deanna, I'm not sure if it would be something I'd like, but I can say that I'd LOVE the musical shows like Hairspray, Annie, etc. Never head of Forever Plaid or The Marvelous Wonderettes.

Another show I'm dying to see, and that will be here in San Diego next July (2012) is Wicked. I've wanted to go to NYC back when Idina Mensel and Kristin Chenowweth were Elphaba and Glinda, but simply couldn't afford it. I'm excited that the show is coming here, but also a bit bummed out that it's not the cast I'd really love to see. My ship has sailed on that chance!

But I'd love to get together and hit up the theatres. Lawn seats sound good to me too!

Hi Deanna,

So, I just got the booklet in the mail for the Moonlight . They have some great ones this season!

I'm going to....

Forever Plaid on June 15th

Annie on July 20th

Hairspray on August 17th

I don't think I'll make it to the Marvelous Wonderettes because my kids will be back in school and I will have my crazy life back. Let me know if you are interested in going. These dates are opening night for each show. My kids and I get a wave water park pass every year and you get extra benefit with the card. One benefit is a lawn seat on opening night only (for each show) for $5.00 instead of $27.00. Even at $27 a ticket it's money well spent. The shows are always top notch!

Oh AWESOME! My puppy loves other dogs. I just fostered another dog this weekend from the German Shepherd Rescue. He's such a love bug!

They crave to be walked and exercised, which helps keep me honest with my walking too. If I slack off, then they go into crazy bordem mode, and believe me, I'd rather a quiet exhausted dog than a crazy, rowdy dog! LOL

I also bring my pups to the dog park near us. It's called Mayflower dog park, and it's on Valley Center Road (East Valley Parkway, but heading further east). My dogs love it, they get to play with other dogs and I walk my laps around the dog pen, which is a pretty good size.

They are on sale right now at Target. I actually, had bought two for me (one pink / one gray to make my lunch bag) and my husband stole the gray one. Should have gotten two pink ones!

I know we aren't supposed to drink from a straw after, but there is no "extra air" with this bottle. The water is always at the spout. Super cool.

Here's to you beating everyone up the mountain next time you go hiking in Colorado!!!!!

P.S. My puppy love other dogs...let's go for a walk soon!

I'll be honest, my mind was quite abuzz with what on earth your new toy could possibly have been!!!  haha!

I have a camelback also, for when I use to go hiking in Colorado, so I'm familiar with the brand. I'm sure its burried deep within my closet somewhere now and probably needs a new bladder. I love that they are making drinking bottles too. I'll have to go check those out, especially with summer on its way.

No, I didn't just go to a Passion Party! Get your minds out of the gutter....or maybe it's just my mind that 's there ...anyhow...

I am in love with my new bottle. I've had it for about a month now, and I love, love, love it. We use camelbacks when we are on our quads out in glamis, but I didn't know they made a sports bottle until I saw some people on OH with them. Of course, I had to go and get one. It is my new favorite can't live without item. I get in so much more water during the day and I don't have to worry about it spilling on my work desk and ruining my papers or electronics (it doesn't even spill in my lunch bag.)

Not sure how to add pix...don't know if it will show up????

Hi ya ladies

I'll PM you my info to any of you ladies that are interested in keeping in contact (other than being in contact here, on OH.)

FYI: Even though this is a closed group...discussion topics are visible to anyone on your friend list. If you go to my account at the top of the page, then (on the left) click on start page, it will show any discussion topic you post...even if the page it's posted on is by invitation only. Anyone on your friends list can view the info. (ie. since Sian posted the discussion topic, anyone on her friends list can view the discussion topic and all the replies or if you have someone on your friends list that is in a group, and they post a topic, even if you are not in the group...you can view their posts on that topic.) It's not really a big deal...but it took me awhile to figure this website out. (Actually, I'm still figuring out this website!) Just thought this info might help.

I have a lot of "friends" on OH website that are more people if interest that post really great things that I enjoy reading, but not "TRUE" friends like you ladies. If you are ever looking for support or a friendly voice, I'd love to hear from ya.
