Kool what time? I just did my lab work today ..and i will be at PB for the meeting that I havent been able to make! as for weight i'm still at 335 eh eh but im ok im just happy cause everything is moving forward~

Happy graduation to Roogirl! I didn't get on to weigh in yesterday, probably because I weighed 283 yesterday AM, 2 lbs. up. I hope everyone else is a litlle more successful. On a positive note-my appointment with PB is set for 6/1, details to follow!

I hope you feel better! I have been having trouble with my eating because I feel nervous about progress toward teh surgery goal. It seems to be moving in the right direction though. I really miss everyone too! Hopefully, we will get together to do something soon...

It looks like based on past events, you are approximately a week, to a week and a half ahead of me. I'll keep an eye out for the letter too.
I'll be doing the same thing as you, calling PCB constantly so that they will be sick and tired of me calling and just push me through to get rid of me!

I got a letter when I got home yesterday from Kaiser confirming the referral to Hillcrest Surgical Group. Instructions said that if PCB hadn't called, to call a number to set up an appointment. I called this morning but was told my packet from Kaiser hadn't arrived and to check back in a couple of days. Frustrating but closer!

It is called the H.pylori antigen I think. I have the same tests returned as yours. Oh well. I tried to call but was referred to the process in Chapter 24 of our book-I'll look when I get home. Also, I heard Kaiser is having a strike tomorrow.

Hang in there girl. These are the kinds of things that we can't control. Other people are always going to have their personal view on the WLS stuff, and we just can't let them get us down.
You are absolutely right though, it is ourselves who will be responsible for how we do after surgery. There is nothing that your brother or family needs to do to prepare, other than be supportive. On the flip side of this, could it be that your brother was trying to be supportive in calling you out? I wasn't there, so I don't know, but I'm just saying.....just maybe.
This waiting period seems to be the toughest point of all. I hate waiting for my authorization, and waiting for a call from PB, and waiting for surgery. But I have to roll with what it is, and TRY and be patient! LOL, yeah, I'm not the patient type at all.
Anytime you need to vent, we are here!
