Mine was low as well-16.  Prescription for 6 weeks and had to add a Vit D supplement, but doesn't  slow progress.

I was 284 on Thursday morning-292 in the PM.  I am scheduled to see Dr. Rumsey on 6/1 as wee as 2 other doctor's.  It says on the letter for those appointments that it will take 21 working days to determine the status of the case and if you haven't heard by then, call for an update.  for me that  would mean I'd know something by the end of June.  I hope it is the same for everyone, but as soon as I got my lab request, I did it right away.  As soon as I got my letter saying the packet was sent to PB, I called.  I miss everyone and hope to see you all soon.

I am doing the same-nervous about what's next.  I am afraid that when I go to my appointment on 6/1 they will look at my weight from my fitness test which was 274 and say-hey you've gained 10 lbs.!  I'm hoping to lose a little this weekend.  You will hear from them so soon-maybe we will all heve the same doc and day!  Miss you all!

That is so great.  I am also meeting with Dr. Rumsey but on Wednesday.  I have 3 appointments booked-Rumsey, the pych eval with Dr. Olmstead and finally the internist evaluation with Dr. Bressler.  They are in 3 different locations in the area but will take all day because of how they are spread out.  I'll let you know how it goes.

WEll looks like im 336 and i just had breakfast I guess i'm not doing as bad as I thought....Got a ltter yesturday saying I need to do Urine test again I hope everything comes out fine Ittle nervous though and than it says my Viti D is low but Sian says hers is to Sooooooooooooo just gotta go get all that done going to wait till tuesday my day off! anyway ladies see ya later

Nerves are really kicking in now.

PBG called and scheduled my consultation with Dr. Rumsey for next Thursday (June 2nd).

When they called, they asked which procedure I was looking to have done, and from that, she determined which doctor she wanted me to meet with. As far as I'm concerned, all the doctors are great at PBG, so I would've been happy with any of them.

She doesn't give you a time for the visit, but advises that she will send you and email and follow up with a phone call, once she has put together an itinerary for the three consultations (surgeon, psychologist and nutritionist).

Sadly, I'm creeping back up on the scale, gained 4lbs this week. Not happy at all. But it seems like I'm hitting a period where Im eating anything and everything I can. I'm never satisfied with what I've eaten, nor do I feel full. I'm not sure where this is all coming from, but I know it needs to stop.

I recognized that I was doing it, and tried to speak to myself, I said, "Self, you need to stop this uncontrollable eating pattern. You are not hungry, you are eating to fill something, but that something does not require food!".

I've decided to really take the next 3 months of break from school (sadly, no break from work), to concentrate on me. I purchased a swimsuit and am going to start up some water aerobics at the Y, and change up my workout routine a little. So we'll see how that goes.

you sound  like me a couple of weeks ago.  Supply yourself with low cal snacks.  I munch on pretzels vs chips,  fruit chips (Mrs May's Fruit chips) & Bare Fruit Apple Chips.  I found both at Costco.  I also found "Think Thin" bars that have 15-20 gm protein, they have many flavors & they feel like a treat yet getting your protein in. Sorry about not checking in last week--I'm such a computer nit-wit, couldn't remember how to post!! Last week I was 234#, no loss but no gain.  This week I lost 4# so I'm back down to 230#. Have my lab orders but have not yet had them done.  I here Shian's progress through the system, where is everyone else during thhis process?
