HAHAHA...I've been eating these things for about a year. When my friend would bring her toddler over, he and I would do the "one for you, one for me" game. They are addicting! You will have to hide them from your granddaughter...lol

I found the bites at Target. They had fudge brownie and chocolate peanut butter. Both are good, but the peanut butter ones are a little dry. I can't remember how much they cost, but I'm a frugal shopper so they must have been reasonable.

PS... your date is getting closer!

I know it's hard to get it all down. I usually split it with my dogs...they luv 'em and they chase them across the room, kinda like fetch.

Peach and strawberry are THE BOMB! Mixed berry is good, but not my most fave. There are also some organic yogurt melts made by HAPPY BABY, they are twice as good, but twice as expensive.

OMG those baby melts are freakin AWESOME!!!!!

There is no way I can even eat 1/4 cup of those, and that's still only 30 calories! Thanks for the shopers review. I bought all three flavors.

Oh, now that is an awesome idea.I've always hated yogurt, but always like yogurt dipped goodies! I know, it's weird.

I might have to give that a try and help add some mixture to my daily menu.

Here are two of my favorite eats right now....

Gerber yogurt melts
- made for toddlers, but so yummy. Literally melt in your mouth. A 1/4 cup fills you up for only 30 calories. It's a nice switch from conventional yogurt.

Power Bar protein plus bites
- not really high in protein (only 2.5g per bite). I like them as a treat. One at at then of the day is my reward for staying in my calorie range, and it keeps my sweet tooth satisfied. Fudge Brownie is my favorite.

OOHHHHHhhh, that's right. I keep forgetting your vegetarian! doh!

Well, that would make sense then, I didn't think about that. I'll scan in that form for you, and email it.

Dr Tanaka said I could add fish at week 5, but I'm a vegetarian...if it's from the sea it's not for me....lol

He said he would add more food at my 1 month check up. I've been adding extra stuff for about a week now. I have always had a stomach of steel. Partied my butt off for 20+ years, maybe hurled a total of 10 times. Three pregnancies, only hurled once. Even with the stomach flu, I rarely puke, it come out the back exit (TMI).

I would like to look at the form Dr. Rumsey gave you, if you wouldn't mind scanning it.

Sound like you're doing great...It's good to hear!

It's strange that Tanaka gave you till Sept 25th before progressing. Rumsey gave me to Sept 25th also, he said that by a month out of surgery I will be able  to go to soft foods like shrimp and fish. I would've thought you'd be able to progress as of Sept 5th (today), since that is your month since surgery.

I'd suggest double checking that with Tanaka, because it is a very long time to go on the clear liquids and protein shakes. I have a post op form that Rumsey gave me, I can scan and send you a copy if you like.

Right now I consume in a day:
1 to 1.5 Premier Protein Shakes, 160-240 calories, 30-45g protein
3 oz scrambled egg whites, 75 calories, 15g protein
And the rest are liquids, such as water, sobe 0 cal water, and low sodium chicken broth

This is about all I can handle, plus I run out of hours in a day to do anymore. I'm looking forward to the 25th though. A friend of mine is taking me to Anthony's Fish Grotto, he said I can share his plate since it wouldn't be worth getting my own, but that we can celebrate me progressing up the food chart LOL.
