Topic: Yummy Butter Substitutes
Have you heard of Butter Buds?  It's yummy!  It tastes jut like butter, but it is WAY healthier.  I got it at Ralphs.  It comes in powder form, but I put a little in a pan with a bit of water to cook my scrambled eggs, and it tasted so good!  I'm going to try to make french toast again, but this time I'm going to use Butter Buds.  I also saw Molly McButter at the grocery store.  I haven't tried it, but I bet it's good too.

Yes!  I had french toast last night (wheat bread dipped in egg then cooked in a pan with cooking spray)  with sugar free syrup.  It all stays within what we can eat, but it was a nice change.  YUM!

Last night I went out to a comedy club, and I ordered cranberry juice.  To make me feel fancy the waitress brought it to me in a wine glass.  It looked legit :)

The brownies and frosting were both by Pilsbury in the baking aisle at Ralphs.  The brownies were just like a regular brownie mix.  I bet you can find them anywhere.  They were yummy!

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Last night was a disaster (for my VSG). BUT at least the wedding was incredible and a total success...so beautiful and true to form...one big ass party! I have the most incredible family

Things I learned last night are...

1. wine burns...never again! OUCH OUCH OUCH
2. there are finally some foods my body doesn't like (cold cactus salad)...threw up in my mouth...on the way to the bathroom
3. I'm a HUGE dancer..I totally get my groove on...never again after eating...I felt so sick...threw up in my mouth again!
4. I burp and gurgle after eating (it's just the norm now), but tight spanx makes it 10 times worse. And all that constriction gave me gnarly gas (TMI)

Please share social tips, if you ladies have any. The social part is the hardest for me!

Glad you enjoyed your birthday dinner (aka breakfast). The social situations and festivities are going to take some getting used to.

Where did you fiance find the sugar free brownines? Did he make them? Sounds good...yum

hey Becca....thanks for all off the good info and tips.....I guess we really have to look at our new stomach as that insurance policy and take care of it...I think I will be like you and not branch out too much..I'm getting ready to play for a very large and touching church service that is dedicated to the 9/11 event. The pieces that I'm playing are very challenging so I better sign off and go warm up my fingers....hugz:)D

You can always ask for a hard copy too. They offered me one when I went in for my first consultation.

Good luck!
