Congrats girl! You are doing an amazing job!.
I'm weighing in every Friday, so I'm no****ching the scale like a hawk. So far 26lbs in 3 weeks, I have my one month on the 7th, but I can add shrimp, fish and vegies to my diet as of the 25th! YAHOOOO, getting tired of my eggs whites! lol

Janet is not doing so well
Healing and recovery is different for everyone. BUT never second guess yourself. This surgery is necessary for all of us to get healthy. Wishing them happiness and health for many years to come!

How are you ladies doing?
228 today... I'm stoked. I see the doc next Thursday. Hopefully I can get off a few more pounds by then!
I stalled for a few days, but I had also stopped walking. I was so tired, I got lazy. As soon as I started walking again the weight started falling off.
35 pounds gone forever!

I went to visit the lovely ladies Janet & Deanna this afternoon. Sadly, Deanna was not yet out of recovery but I was able to sit and chat with Janet and her fabulous new hair-do! She is doing well, and even got up and walked about while I was there.
They are in the same room, 526 for any of you who wish to visit.

hi Becca...oh my, I am sorry to hear all of this but am so glad to know that you are seeing a LIGHT. I do hope the house thing is legit.....let us know and maybe I'll see you this weekend. Janet and I just finished our pre op....now the Milk of Mag is next...hugz:)D

I'm so happy things are turning around for you. It always does, sometimes you just need to ride the rollercoaster of crap for a while, but they eventually let you off! lol
This deserves a celebratory drink, say.....protein shakes with a twist of powder?

This past year has been one big pile of **** I have been tested financially, mentally and physically. I've gotten used to my crappy life, so I just roll with it these days.
Let's recap 2011 so far...car I still owed $8000 dollars on engine blew, BK'd, losing house, $2000 fridge broke, dishwasher broke, air conditioner broke, pool broke, lost my unemployment benefits, PB late call about money, Scripps late call about money, had to sell boat to keep my husband business a float, bookkeeping hours got cut, got my taxes done finally and I owe over $1800 (of course)...hhhmmm is that all...give me a minute...I can think of tons more things. LOL
This week, I have been so dam depressed. Even the fact that I had WL surgery wasn't enough to cheer me up.
BUT, I think things might be starting to turn around. I got a letter from our mortgage company (delivered by FedEx signature required) telling me they will pay me to stay in my house if I help to get it sold. Apparently, It's legitimate!! Because I BK'd they think I will trash the house and gut it before we get kicked out, so they are gonna bribe me with money to play nice and keep the house sellable. I meet with a lady tomorrow that's going to give me the details. I think I might have a new job, with benefits...I find out Monday! It would be nice to have a steady income. And because I'm so dang poor, SDGE is gonna help me with my overdue bill..so no disconnection! Also, I had a couple more people call me regarding bookkeeping help, so out with the old clients, in with the new! New clients mean bookkeeping nightmare projects devoid of any rhyme or reason as to how they totally (suck and) lack skills at keeping track of their chit...translation- lots and lots of hours for me!
Say a prayer for me this weekend...I hope this is as low as it gets, and it's all up from here!
