I hear ya...TV these days kinda sucks. We have a DVR so we record a bunch of reruns like NCIS, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Great Food Truck Race, and a few others.
When I was resting from surgery, I had to take care of my cousins cat. She has Netflix. That was a life saver. My daughter and I would go feed the cat and watch movies, and TV shows. It's awesome cuz it's instant. Pick a movie, pick a TV show, sit down and watch!
Had a great appointment today! Dr. Tanaka was VERY happy with my results so far. I asked him about all the loose skin. I have gained weight and lost over and over, but never had this much extra skin! He said I need to start lifting weights and strength training. He also said other factors can affect the amount of extra skin....

rapid weight loss
dehydration (lack of enough water)
length of time being overweight
When I said "well that explains it, I probably have all of those." He asked how old I was, I said "38". He kicked me out and told me I ruined his day. He said "If 38 is old...Holy **** I must be ancient...**** leave! leave! I have a child your age..leave!." It was funny.

Hi ladies......I'm so tired of the TV....how much TV can a person watch????I can't believe some of the things that are on TV during the day....holy cow?!?!?!?!And I guess some of the bizarre shows have been on for years. Yikes!!Guess you all know that when I retire, I'll be out in the garden or the orchard diggin in the dirt.:)D

oh my....you are so phunny......oscar!!! I wonder if oscar and tum tum would like to be friends??? Well, I got my Karen Hughes call this afternoon and alls good. I'm waking at least an hour a day and am going to walk up to the beauty shop right now....again, thanks for all of your nice notes:)D

I had my first BM while still at the hospital. It was my final day and it was the grossest thing ever! I so will not be able to change baby diapers! LOL 
Also, my gas started up on my last day at the hospital too. It was as though once the blockage was gone (the BM), then all the windy stuff followed! lol
I know have a BM daily, usually first thing in the morning after I wake up. It's like.....yup, gotta go and gotta go NOW!
I don't think you should have any issues with the yoghurt either. My Doc cleared me for it after one week, but I hate the stuff!
Also, my gas started up on my last day at the hospital too. It was as though once the blockage was gone (the BM), then all the windy stuff followed! lol

It's a trip how different all the docs post op eating plans are. I wouldn't worry about a little yogurt. I wasn't supposed to eat it til after week two, but there are soooo many docs that allow it after week one. Thick stuff (ie. protein shakes, jello, yogurt, etc.) sometimes would hurt if I even took a half a bite too much. Your stomach still has a lot of swelling and it's a little pissed you chopped it. Give it some more time you and "tum tum" will be great friends soon.

I actually had stomach pain and acid reflux in the begining too. I was going to ask my doc to give me something stronger than the protinics, but it actually lessened after about 5 days of being home. When is your one week appointment? Maybe lay off the lortab, that always burned the hell out of my stomach....and gave me really bad, gnarly dreams.
I got home on Monday and was driving by Tuesday. Just around town for the first couple days. After that I went about my business normally.
BTW it took me almost a week to poo (i think). It was a long time after I got home ( pooing only will happen once every 5-3 days from now on) and I didn't toot out all the gas until two or three days after being home.
Give it time your body will adjust....You literally just had your stomach ripped out!

yogurt....hey, my tum tum (I think that is her name?) did better with your suggestions but this evening she told me to have some yogurt.....hmhmhm, I was wondering if that was allowed so I took my little plate and a small spoon and ate slowly....now.....tum tum feels better!!!!!Guess I'm one that can do yogurt.. :)D
