hi Sara....so good to hear from you and congrats on your progress. I agree with Sian, we need to have a get together in the new year and show off. I am sorry to hear about the broken engagement and just hope that you are happy with it. How is school going? How are your mom and dad...they were very nice to me when I met them at the hospital...sending hugs:)D

hi Sian....good to hear from and glad to hear about Veronica. I haven't been able to hook up with her at my Von's yet. I am in a 14 wtih room to spare so expect to hit a 12 in a few weeks. I am starting to slow down now as I'm getting close to my goal of a 12. I wear lacy dresses when I perform so I  got them all out og my storage closet (size 12's) and sent them to the cleaners so I'll be ready. I have been giving my clothes to Amvets and am just taking a tax deduction for them. When I move to WA state next summer, I'll have alot less clothes to have to move!!! I'm so glad that you get to go home for Christmas....how long is that flight? You'll notice that the airplane seats are more comfortable now. I experienced that when I flew to Minneapolis at Thanksgiving. Take care and be good....oh heck, I know you'll be good....loveya:)D

Girl, don't you worry. When I get back from overseas, we'll hit up some clubs and get our groove on and show all those guys who blew us off when we were bigger what they missed out on!

Congrats on reaching the halfway mark. You are gonna be at goal in no time. My hair is thinning too. I'm almost in tears when I wa**** and see how much comes out, and it's definitely not for lack of protein. I spoke to Doc Rumsey, and he said it's gonna happen. He thinks for me since I'm extremely active in my brazilian jiu jitsu and losing fast that it's just one of the side effects. I'm upset a bit over it, but I'd rather this than gaining the 80lbs I've lost so far, back. For the first time in my life I have lighter, thinner hair!

I miss you gals!! We must organize a get-together in the New Year, so we can flaunt our new sexy selves!!

Happy Holidays ladies.

I know exactly what you mean Miss D. I now walk into stores like Forever 21 or Dear Alice, and the sales staff actually swarm over to me and ask me if I need any help. Before, I would walk into those stores and the girls would ignore me! Pfft, the nerve of some people!

I'm now comfortably into a 16, getting ready to stock my closet with some size 14s. I have some clothes that I'm putting together for Veronica as she is blowing through sizes too. She's gone from a 28 down to an 18 in just 3 months!!! She is doing awesome. I'm going to try and drop the clothes off to her work so I'll be sure to have someone take a picture of the two of us.

Looking forward to my trip home to Australia in just 9 days time. I'm hoping to push up to 90lbs lost before I do, and hit the century club while I'm there. It would be wonderful to hit that 100lbs loss mark with my family around me. So fingers crossed

I'm just about at the 4 month mark, and things are going great!  I've lost 55 lbs as of this morning, so I'm more than half way through my weight loss.  It feels so great!  I'm so proud of myself, and proud of all of us for what we're accomplishing.  I am losing my hair, and my stomach skin is a bit flappy, but it's all worth it.  I get so many compliments, and men check me out.  Lol!  I can't believe it.  I broke things off with my fiance in October, so I'm even more thankful I had the surgery.  Now I'm looking sexy and catching men.  Know any single guys?!?!  Haha!

Love,

Sara

hi Ladies.......I'm wondering how all of you are doing, especially our newest club member, MARIANNE!!!! I hope all of you are well, adjusting and enjoying your new bodies. I'm really liking being able to get into smaller sizes.....I've also noticed that people that I don't know...like in stores ,etc....treat me differently. Wow...to think that I went so many years with that kind of treatment. Looking fwd to hearing from my wonderful group of ladies....hugz:)Deanna

OMG!!!!

I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to see you melt away. FINALLY...I know the wait has been tough for you, but your journey has begun!

Congrats on the start of your new life. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I don't get on here very much anymore. I have been working like crazy. Going to have to move beginning of January (or so the bank says at this point). I am trying to hoard as much money as I can, so we have a savings and deposit when we move. You can always text me...I do really good with text messaging...760.497.0869.

I'm not sure what everyone else feels about their VSG surgery, but I haven't been this self confident and content in years. I have such a normal life. There is really nothing I can't sample or enjoy at this point (and still lose weight...dream come true). I never get sick, I never get the runs, I have regular BM's (TMI), I can gulp water, I have energy, and I am totally loving life.

Only 46 more pounds til goal (75 pounds lost in 4 months!) and I don't feel like I have sacrificed that much to get here.... started at 268, now at 193.

I have only told a (very small) handful of people, and my life is so normal... most people don't notice the difference in my eating that much. Just that I eat super healthy, I exercise and I am losing weight. I can describe them all in one word...JEALOUS!!!!! this is by far the best thing (other than marrying my husband and giving birth to my three kids) that I have ever done!

I am so excited for you! I you ever need anything, I am here for you!

It will get better and better everyday. This surgery is truly a gift...  (I love that icon, just wanted to use it..lol)

YEAH!! You finally had it! I'm so glad you're home and feeling well. I know what you mean by your stomach not being hungry, but your MIND is. You get used to it after a while. I'm starting to feel hunger more when I need to eat and I'm afriad to eat because I don't want it to hurt later. I hate the full feeling, it hurts.

hi Marianne....yes, glad to hear that it was your turn. I think that yogurt is really good for you. I just flew home from Minneapolis and that is pretty much what I ate while I was there cept a few bites of the other allowable foods...I'm at 9 weeks so the choices expand. I had an episode with some pie and that wasn't fun so I know now for sure that sugary things are bad. Keep drinking your water and eating those sugar free popsicles...they will help you to have some chewing times and gradually, the desire will go away. My prayers are with you....hugz:)D
