Is this your first grand baby? You will be fine to go in five weeks. That's my prediction...and I'm stickin to it. I'm almost at one month and I am back to (and better than) my normal self. I did things as my body let me, not necessarily as the doctor's told me too. I think they practice CYA (cover your ass) in the amount of time they say not to do things. They don't set time lines on an individual basis, just a formula from a book or something.

No, this is my 2nd.  I have a 2yr old grandson, who I can't wait to see.  And you are right with CYA - that's a typical Dr and hospital protocals.  And congrat's on your weight loss!                                             Janet
