I too finally have a date

Deanna you and I are both  being done Sept 16!  my doc is Zorn.  I have been staying at 226# (yeah)
Things seem to be moving fast now -good, because if you all remember I have a new grandchild due in early Nov.  I'll just be 5-6 wks out and traveling to NY please pray I have no complications & I'm fit for travel & I can help deliver my granddaughter.  I have a hunch that my daughter isn't going to make it to the hospital this time!

Woohoo, congrats Janet! Dr Zorn was really nice. My Dr completed my surgery but then had to fly interstate later that night, so Dr Zorn ended up looking after me for the following two days. He doesn't mess about, just gets right to it, which I love.

It will be nice to have someone there you know too. YAY!!!

Sian I'm so happy you are online- I prayed for you on your surgery date, I'm glad you are doing well and your ever-faithful posts. I think of you often & miss your sense of humor.   Take care!

Aww thank you. Im truly blessed to have met all the wonderful ladies of our class. I love how we have been able to continue our communication even though we are all over San Diego County.
And don't worry, Im still my wacky self, even from the moment of being wheeled into the OR when the cute young orderly named Stephan wheeled me in. I told him I'd be on level 5 and to bring the ice chips! Sadly, he never showed!
I'll be sure to come by and visit both you and Miss. D. My  best advice, is definitely to get up, and as much as you can.

YEAH.......I'm scheduled for 1 pm, do you know your time yet? you want to know something funny.....I had a feeling that you and I would be on or about the same day.....wouldn't it be zany if we were room mates, too?!??!!?!?! Well, I'm getting ready....it;s only 1 more Friday...hugz:)D

so how am I gonna find you ladies when I come visit? can I get your last names so I can ask for your room numbers at the nurses station?

hi Becca......ah, good question. I'm Deanna Hastings...good old English name but I have German blood and when In Germany, people think that I'm polish....oh well.....Poland used to be Germany 200 years ago. I have a suggestion.....I vote that we ask Sian to compile a list of all of our names, emails and phone numbers so that we can be in better touch with each other......which way do you vote????:)D

No I don't have a time yet.  Yes, the time is coming up quickly.  And you know, I too had a hunch that we were going to be together!  It would be great if we had the same room LOL

oooh....way cool. Call the number for your pre op appt and they will give you your surgery time.I'm a pretty good roommate because I'm left handed so I usually like to put my stuff on the opposite side of what most people like.....cept....we probably won't be  doing too much cept sleeping and shuffling....hahaha...looking fwd to seeing you!!!:)D
