Hi Everyone!  I'm two weeks out from my surgery and finally feeling better.  The past two weeks I've been, weak, tired, sick, and vomitting.  Yesterday things started to turn around, and today I finally got something besides water and protein shake down.  I had a rough go from the start.  I had to stay in th hospital an extra day because I was having anxiety attacks and migranes.  One week out I saw Dr. Tanaka, an he was still concerned with my progress.  I go back on thursday to see him again.  I'm confident I'll get a good report.

Sara and I were in the hospital at the same time, and she looked amazing.  I heard Sian walked a mile and a half one day while she was there.  Becca is back to work.  It seems like my experience so far is not the norm.  Good luck to everyone, and I hope you all do wonderfully as you recover and thrive.

Yes, I got a good sub.  I have a good partner teacher and aide so I know everything is going well.  I hope you get your date soon!

hi Sara.....what school district are you with, what part of town is your school in...and...refresh my memory....are you in special ed? I'm wondering if haveing a smaller class will make it easier for you when you return. I see 500 kids a week, 100 a day, 20-30 each hour and do all of the grades so often I'm doing a quick switch in set-ups from the kindergarten rug group to the risers, instruments and hauling out all of the african drums. I'm hoping that my body responds well and heals quickly as I only want to take 2 weeks off of work...well, more later...hugz:)D

It really does affect all of us differently, so I highly recommend to not go into surgery with any expectations but just to think positive.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better and up and about.

YAY! You found us....it's good to here from you, although I'm sorry to hear you had such a rough time.

Do you have a history of migraines and anxiety? I've struggled with anxiety in the past and it is miserable!!!!!!!

Glad that you are finally feeling better, and your weight loss this far kicks ass. 20 pounds is unbelievable. So far none of my mini stalls have lasted more than 2-5 days. I do log all my food and exercise. I try and take in about 750 calories for a few days, then drop to like 500 for a few days. Seems to be working to break the stalls. Or maybe it's just coincidence...LOL

Take care!

I do have a history of migranes, but none of anxiety.  That was weird...

I think I lost so much wieght because I couldn't eat ANYTHING.  Water made me throw up the first two weeks.  I gained some back so it's more like 17 lbs, but I'm happy with that.

Every post you remind of good habits that I need to start. I haen't logged anything or exercied regularly.  I'll start now!
