Hello everyone! I am officially down 56lbs and I am 11 weeks and 2 days out. I have been having some bowel issues and spoke with the nurse last week she said for me to pick up some Finn Crisps at Major Market they are on the cracker aisle left side top shelf. They have Fiber and no fat and since they are light they are easy to digest. I was at a stall for over a week at 49.5 could not break it then Bam! I added protein bars to my diet this last week and found it really is helping me get through the day. Also the nurse said it is really important to get the water in daily because your body reabsorbs it and if you don't drink enough to pee every hour it's not good! Well I know most of you have had your surgery now I wish you all Success on this new journey. Shelley

hi Shelley....good to hear from you and congrats on the success. How many more do you think you are going for?  It's good to read about the info, too. I am behind the group with my surgery schedule...I still don't have a date. I saw the surgeon on Aug 8 so should  be getting my call any day and I'm hoping for a late Sept surgery date. I am behind the group because i couldn't take off from work to do the fitness wal****il school was out...oh well...all things work together for the good. BTW, are you a coffee drinker? I have a coffee question. Take care and glad that you are here with us....tata:)Deanna

I am hoping to go at least 75 more with a little room up or down. I am not a coffee drinker but you can have decaf coffee. I have been free of caffeine for at least 4 months now and yesterday I had a cup with my sister in law which she claimed was decaf  it was not and I only slept 4 hours last night even have taken a sleeping pill yikes. I wish you the best of luck. Who is your surgeon? Mine was Rusmey. Good Luck!

hi shelley.....I've gotten a lot of good tips on the coffee routine. I have Dr. Taller and am going for the sleeve. I guess the healing with the sleeve is quicker.....tata:)D

Congrats Shelley. What an amazing job! What is your exercise routine like and when did you go from just walking after surgery to full blown workouts?

Also, what does your daily food intake look like now?
