surgery

they called to schedule me today for Sept 14th.......I had to decline. I'm going to be out of town and I told them 3 times I can do this baby in October. I hoping and praying that they call back soon. Hopefully they'll offer the date to one of my other classmates!!!!

I'm having the sleeve done. Dr thought it was best, because of my MS, and I thought so too.  Sounds like a Dr Seuss rhyme.  What are you having done? ~K.

good morning Krystyne (not sure if I spelled it correctly). I am going with the sleeve, too...I would like your date but I'm pretty sure that PB doesn't work that way. They have no idea that we have a group, too!!!And, that we want to stick together...even in surgery. Hahaha. If I by chance get a call today, I'll let you know for sure....hugz:)D

I don't see why they couldn't slot you in for October.  I mean, I saw the surgeon back in early June and they gave me August 25th, some of the other gals saw the surgeon later and got earlier dates, so I have no idea how they work their schedules, but I would think that with October being 2 months away you should be fine.

PB is weird. I don't know why they just can't give you an October date now. My magic 8 ball says "they will call, it is certainly so". Magic 8 ball doesn't lie (lol) so just sit back and relax, they will call.

Call back and ask for the date you want, they can check the doctor's schedule and the info goes to the surgery scheduler's and they will call you back with availability.  I wish I had been more aggressive when they had given me my original date but when I called to reschedule they were helpful and called back with a confirmation in less than a week.  I was told when I asked about cancellation policies that there is a big process involving the size and health issues of the cancelee matching the person that goes in the slot-or so they said.  Good luck!
