Long time no hear from me. I've not had internet for the past couple weeks. Well, I just had my 3 appt's today & everything went OK. How long did you all wait from your appt's to obtaining a surgery date? I'm having a back procedure on 8/24 so hopefully I can walk better & be in less pain, I've been in so much pain from my back, my fibromyalgia & 2 migraines in the month of July (!) that I have been barely able to just stretch! So much for keeping active. .. I've been hovering between 227-232# but my final weigh in came in @ 234#. I've missed you all & I'm so happy to hear that some of you have August surgery dates-- that's awesome. Good luck to you all, just in case I don't have internet again. Maybe I'll see someone from group when I go.
Am glad to hear from your Janet, I was actually starting to get a bit worried because you had mentioned last time about being dizzy often.
I personally received a surgery date about a week after my 3 appointments with PB, but I know some others took a little longer.

Highest Weight 310lbs - Current Weight 154lbs - Goal Weight 175lbs
Have a safe surgery and quick recovery. Back issues are dibilatating. I'm happy that Kaiser is going to fix you. By the end of this year you should be lighter and active! That's really something to look forward to.
PB called me about a week (and a few days) after my appointment with them. I couldn't believe it was so quick. It did take me a really long time to get the initial appointment with them.

Yes, July was an awful month, must have been something in the thick, sultry air!!! So sorry about the back because there is no getting comfortable with it. Becca is so right about the weight loss helping, as well as the surgery!.
I am surprised at how fast everyone has heard back about their surgery dates. I thought it was 3 weeks at least. Thats exciting to hear it might be sooner. i just had my doc appts yesterday so as soon as I hear I'll post it.
