So, I did not lose a single pound (that I didn't gain back) during the kaiser classes. Although, I feel better mentally, and have become a healthier person...(no more happy hour ). I'm glad the classes were required.
BUT, I still want to lose at least 10% of my current weight before surgery. So, I'm going to do nutri system. I've done it in the past and been successful for 3-4 months. I have so much weight to lose, it would take me a year (or more!!) to lose it all on nutri system and I just don't have that kinda focus. Hopefully, this short term solution will help me shed my buddha belly and at least 10%.
Lucky for me they have a vegetarian plan....but I don't think it includes happy hour either

I have done nutrisystem in the past and had fairly good results. My biggest issue was portions and with NS, it was pretty much done for me.
As you know, I'm taking the Medifast route as I'm in the same situation as you. I'm curious to see how much I lost this week as while the pounds might not be dropped off, it is like the bloating and gas build up has dissappeared and I can fit into a size smaller pants! It is so freaking weird!! LOL

I have been doing Lindora which is a moderate protein, low carb plan. I go twice a week to get weighed in and although you can eat your own food, they have yummy bars and puddings. The only problem now it I have to go to Del Mar which is 20 miles out of the way. I felt a let down after the last meeting-to start the waiting game again so I'm glad we'll meet on line on Thursdays.
