Kingston Support Group Meetings
These meetings are open to everyone who is either considering having weight loss surgery or those who have already taken the leap. It's an informal gathering with people who understand your fears, hopes and struggles. These meetings offer motivation and support and allow each of us to refocus on our goals.
We exchange recipes, clothes and stories as well as what's working for us and what's not.
The cost of using the Ongwanada Resource Centre is minimal and I usually take up a collection to of a buck or two to cover the costs.
We would love for you to join us.

Referral to Ottawa: Jan/11 Info Session: May/11 Nurse: Feb/12 Dietician/Behavourist/Abdominal Scan: Apr/12 Pre-op Education Class: Feb. 6/13 Meet Surgeon Feb.15/13 Surgery with Dr. Raiche March 12/13!!
The race isn't given to the swift nor the strong, but it's given to the ones who endure it to the end...
Our meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month; so the next meeting is February 12th. I see that you have your meet the surgeon appointment that day, I hope that you will still be able to make the meeting.

I won't be at the March meeting because I have my surgery that day!!!
