In that agonizing part of the process, waiting, I have done the Seminar already at Columbia Hospital in Washington heights NY, met with my Surgeon on February 13th, 2013 and did my labwork on the same day! I weigh 225lbs 5'4 and have always had Sleep Apnea, I also have hidradenitis suppurativa which is basically acne in all the wrong places (groin area, armpit, in between breast) I have always struggled with my weight and I am so tired of living in this body I know does not belong to me. I did my Psychological evaluation on Wednesday February 20th, 2013 in Columbia Hospital as well, the DR. was a bit rude with her opinion saying I should reconsider and although I passed the Psychological Evalutation maybe I should rejoin a weight watchers group.. then I realized she was a member of weight watchers.. I was like yeah.... okay lady. thanks, but no thanks. Anywho.. I have my Sleep apnea sleep study test on March 7th, ENDOSCOPY March 7th and my appoitment with the nutritionist March 11th, which I am excited for. I kind of just want to get the ball rolling and do this procedure. I am so tired of being this big, my knees hurt, my feet hurt.. I hate seeing old friends because I know by the look on their face they are staring me down on how big I have gotten. I have United Health Care Choice with JP Morgan Chase bank, so I am really praying to God I get approved but am ready to get denied and fight it becasue after doing enough research have realized that INSURANCE companies want to deny you to see if you back off, or they change there policy but I really really want to do this so I pray to God I can get this done. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers..
