It's ten years and I made a promise to myself if i did it for ten years that I would retire and serve the WLS comminity.  Well, I lied.  I never retired and I began serving the WLS community anyway.  Support is what we need.  This group is FREE OF CHARGE and relies on our experiences as a platform.  Dr. Gary Pearlstein did my surgery.  There is no more WLS in the Hudson Valley and his loss has created our loss. 

I have a forthcomming book, a researched book, with a scientific bent on the underbelly of WLS.  The underbelly you ask?  Yes, the dark side.  Not the glickes with hernia's or skin hanging no- the reaction we might evoke when we opt for this process.  Were you discouraged?  Did you find that the pecking order was changed when you were no longer the FAT fromp?  Those a a few of the topics. 

Ten years later and I cannot recognize that women before. in fact i can't even find old pictures- I wasn't in any of them or I was squeezed behind someone- my trick.   She was cut in half.
