John Webber, MD is one of the early pioneers who brought laparoscopic surgery to Southeastern Michigan. Dr. Webber has been performing laparoscopic gastric bypass surgery for eight years and has one of the largest experience bases in all of Michigan.

Currently, Dr. Webber is the Director of the Minimally Invasive Section at Harper University Hospital and Chief of General Surgery at Harper University Hospital.

Great Lakes Weight Loss performs all of our surgical procedures at Harper Hospital, the busiest weight loss surgery center in the state of Michigan. Our outpatient offices are located attached to the hospital.

Dr. Edelman, a native of Detroit, received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and did his surgical and research residency training at the Detroit Medical Center.
