Hello Everyone,
Happy New Year to you and yours.
This year lets focus on us!
I don't usually make resolutions but this year I'm gonna try one. Yes only one, but it's a big one.
I'm going to try and lose 13 more pounds... Then I'll be at the weight when I got married, 26 years ago.
so what's you resolution?
Don't be shy, we can help each other.
I missed a lot of you at the support group meeting Jan 12th TUESDAY.... Yes starting with the New Year our meetings are now on the second Tuesdays of the month at 6pm for the Alumni group and guess who will be joining us.... Can you guess???
Okay, I tell ya, Deborah. Yeah!!!
So don't forget to come next month Feb. 9th at 6pm for the alumni group...

Hello All........On this New Year's Eve I wanted to share this with you!!!! See how many of the 40 you can follow through the NEW YEAR!!!! Love you all!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!!!!!!
HANDBOOK 2010
HEALTH:
1. Drink plenty of water
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on plants and eat less food that is manufactured in a plant.
4. Live with the 3 E's - Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.
5. Make time to pray.
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2009.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9. Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take 1 10-30 minute walk daily......SMILE while you walk!
PERSONALITY:
11. Don/t compare your life to others...You have no idea what their journey is all about,
12. Do not have negative thoughts of things you can not control, instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13. Do not over do...know your limits and keep them.
14. Do not take yourself too seriously, no one else does.
15. Do not waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Forget issues of the past. Do not remind of his/her mistakes of the past, this will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Make peace with your past and live in the present.
21. No one but YOU is in charge of YOUR happiness.
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply a part of the curriculum, they will appear and fade but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
23. Smile and laugh more.
24. You do not have to win every argument...agree to disagree.
SOCIETY:
25. Call your family often.
26. Each day give something good to others.
27. Forgive Everyone for Everything.
28. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.
29. Make at least three people smile each day.
30. Remember....What other people think of you is none of your business.
31. Your job may not care when you are sick, your friends will. Stay in touch.
LIFE:
32. Do the right thing!
33. Get rid of anything that is not useful, beautiful or joyful.
34. GOD heals everything.
35. However good or bad a siuation is....it WILL change!
36. No matter how you feel.....get up, dress up and show up!
37. The best is yet to come...
38. When you awake alive each morning, thank GOD for it!
39. Your inner most is always happy, so be happy!

Well we made it past Thanksgiving and black friday and of course cyber monday. whew!
Now it's time to bake those treats for giving and sharing.
BUT we want them to be healthy and something that we all can eat and enjoy without worrying about getting sick or dumping.
So without further daily, drum roll please.... roll ... roll.... roll....
Go to this site, it's Linda Farnsworth from Bariatric Eating. She is absolutely fabulous! I have made quite a few of her recipes and I always get great results and compliments.
