I need Help

 I have been told that the hospital I wanted to have surgery at that my insurance will not pay the hospital and that there is no where in queens to have this operation which is the lapband

Now last year I was told because I had just medicare that they wouldn't pay I need another insurance so I add Touch stone....I called them and asked them if they would pay for the surgery and they stated that as long as the dr stated it was a life situation they would.

Now I am lost....Northshore hospital LIJ is where i thought I would have it
can anyone guide me in the direction I should go....

Hmm  I'll call Deborah tomorrow afternoon.

If you can, we have our next informational meeting at the hospital on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.  7pm, the doctors will be there as well as Deborah who knows all about the insurance end and the program.

 Thank You.....so much Debbie....I was also told that Dr Tanebaum was no longer in the network ? Now this I was told by Touch stone so i am  guessing there network .  I will be at the meeting... I am sure I will find some answers .....I would like Dr. Tanebaum to do the surgery but if not I am sure he could guide me to someone just as qualify.
