Post op checkup was today and great news -- everything INCLUDING my meal intake is on point (I was so worried). Dr. says listen to my body (which I have been) and no vomiting or diarrhea. One minor issue -- I've been having some type of reaction to either the glue/steri strips/tape and did not get cleared to resume aqua fit BUT that's okay... will spend my gym time on cardio 
. Dr. says I still seem a little bloated but I'll take the 5 pound loss anyway (considering she said she has patients that actually gain 10 lbs during the initial post op stage.
Most exciting part of the day.... Got my keys and I'm driving!!!!

Be careful with the banana...it could cause consistancy issues for you. The egg beaters is good though...make sure that the chicken puree is moist (add broth if you need to)...the hardest part I had with purreed was getting it the right consitancy and not overeating...

I hit 50 pounds lost this past weekend! Ok that is a scale victory, but I'm so freakin' thrilled...
Now the NSV - I went shopping this weekend for some much needed jeans (and b-day present); tried on the 18W (was 24W at surgery)- well, they were too big and had to get 16W (I know break my little heart
), the 1x shirt was a tent...so guess what
? I hit the Misses department! Haven't been there in two years :-) I missed it so much...and the shirt actually actually fit!

I am a big scaredy cat! Used to have to lay down to get blood drawn. When I got pregnant after trying for seven years my Nurse Practitioner just laughed and said, "now what are you going to do"?
I said, "Think about it then".
That is exactly how I feel about this surgery. I want it and I 'm going to do it. Scared? YOU BET!
