I felt the same way as a matter of fact i still do. It is still very surreal. I wake up every day thinking. I cant believe i eally did this! Ihave lost 16 since tues. Not xure how. Lol just stay focused and keep your goals in site just like before. I have to say that i am disappointed by the fact that i am still hungry and have cravings, i am not one of the lucky ones. You have to stay way ahead of it and have a solid schedule for eating and drinking. You can do it. Eevry pound is a victory in this battle. Slow and steady will win it! Congrats!

Topic: Lose every day???
This is probably a silly question, but shouldn't I be losing weight every day? I am two weeks out, and had lost two to three pounds a day, but nothing from yesterday.
I appreciate any replies. I am sure I am probably just crazy.....
Thanks. Leslie

Yes, I sure did. Relax stop worrying so much. Follow the plan when you come and I'm sure you'll be successful.
Topic: RE: 3 weeks out... and what are you eating?
I'm only on the 2nd day on puree. Yesterday I had
breakfast- 1 scrambled egg
lunch- egg salad (1 egg)
dinner- tuna salad
snack- split pea soup
I also am having trouble finding a protein powder that I like. I'm waiting for some more sample packs to arrive. The EAS chocolate shakes (110 calories) are my favorite so far. I buy them at BJ's $27 for 24 drinks.

I can't believe my surgery is in 2 days, it is surreal. I am getting very nervous, mostly about failing to lose weight. Did anyone else have these thoughts prior to surgery?

I had mine on Thursday and came home friday night. I'm feeling pretty good too. The gas isn't too bad, trying to walk around to get it to move. Regarding the IV's, they weighed me before the surgery and before I left, and I put on 13 lbs from the IV's. hahaha.
Are you finding this surgery experience a little surreal?

I'm 11 days out and still on clear liquids. I'll be on clear liquids until the 15th. I had a revision from Lap Band to RNY. Luckily I'd stocked up on tons of various protein options (which are ok on the clear liquid diet) and I've been experiementing with various ones. So far I like the Synthrax Nectar Twisted Cherry and Roadside Lemonade best. However for a full, sweet option, the Chike is excellent.
Anyway I am looking forward to the begainning of December when I can graduate to the puree stage!

I have been using the EAS Carb Advantage Shakes. Premade a pack of 4 is around 5 dollards and they are available at major stores. I like the taste and the texture and the premade fits my lifestyle
