he is a australian sheppard/border collie cross....... basically a mutt..... lol.... but a handsome mutt.... 

he has been with us less than 24 hours and stolen everyones hearts....

Mutts are the best, really. He's a cutey. And, yes! Smart dog I am sure! I had a border collie mix and he was the smartest dog I ever had.

They are really brilliant dogs. We have a boarder collie mix as well and he is the smartest dog I've ever experienced. I thought my lab was pretty bright before the boarder collie was adopted but wow the boarder collie is a brainiac!

Enjoy him! He'll delight your heart.
