so my surgery was 11/1.  i lost 14 pounds by sat.  then gained 2 back and 2 back.

in 3 days i have not lost anything and actually gained 2 back for a net of 10 lbs.

WTH?  i am so depressed, i have been charting everything, all protein, calories, fluids vitamins.  following everything to the letter.  i took MOM  2 days ago and had 2 small bm.  nothing since.  i am taking some more now, could it really be poo?  i have eaten tomato soup, yogurt, protein.

could my body be freaking out?  i had more calories on my skim milk/shake diet and lost more weight.    ggrrrrrrrr

Yes, it will come off. You are likely dealing with water retention like I did-it just effects everyone in different ways. One thing I know about this surgery is you will lose weight. Just stick to the diet and you will.
I was constipated-bloated-etc. etc. I was having a problem losing. And I am sure I weigh much more than you do. Weight is supposed to come off much faster the more you have to lose. so...hang in there and don't worry!

I'm sure it's the inability to go!
You will start to see the lbs go, just be patient. Sometimes when I'm doing really well on a diet plan and start weighing myself everyday, the scale becomes even more of an enemy. Give yourself a reprieve from the scale, continue to drink your fluids and eat your liquidy/mushy foods, whatever cagle has you on and stay positive. It will happen for you sister, no freaking out!!!!

I know it's frustrating, but your body has fluid shifts that can cause several pound fluctuations over the hours of a day. I have decided not to let the scale rule my life. I will only weigh myself once a week now. It sounds like you are doing everything you need to do. Relax and keep up the good work. Remember this is a new lifestyle, not a diet. I found I was on emotional roller coaster for the first few weeks. Give yourself a break and concentrate on recovering. The weight will come off
