2 Days and Counting

I can't believe my surgery is in 2 days, it is surreal.  I am getting very nervous, mostly about failing to lose weight.  Did anyone else have these thoughts prior to surgery?

Yes, I sure did. Relax stop worrying so much. Follow the plan when you come and I'm sure you'll be successful.

I felt the same way as a matter of fact i still do. It is still very surreal. I wake up every day thinking. I cant believe i eally did this! Ihave lost 16 since tues. Not xure how. Lol just stay focused and keep your goals in site just like before. I have to say that i am disappointed by the fact that i am still hungry and have cravings, i am not one of the lucky ones. You have to stay way ahead of it and have a solid schedule for eating and drinking. You can do it. Eevry pound is a victory in this battle. Slow and steady will win it! Congrats!

I think everyone has those thoughts before surgery, it is totally normal and understandable...

I wish you best of luck and a very uneventful recovery-check in when you can to let us know how you are!

Oh yeah..  But I was probably more worried about the size of my liver.  I really hoped that the pre-op diet would shrink my liver to make the surgery easier for the doctor.  Well after the surgery when he came to visit me I asked if my liver was small, he said, "No, it was very big."  hahaha, but all went well anyways.
You're having your surgery today.. See you on the other side.
