Fall 2011 Super Secret Clubhouse!
3 weeks out... and what are you eating?
HI...
Well I am about 3 weeks out.. and just curious what everyone is eating...> more of a comparison..(and yes I know everyone is different..lol)..
I am technically in the pureed stage..but have not been blending my food... just eating really really soft shredded food..(eg. beef stew)..
Having a hard time getting my protein shakes.. but every day I try to work more towards it. Problem is, I just not have found one that suits my new taste buds... (its a work in progress)..
Happy and fast healing to all the new post ops...

I'm 11 days out and still on clear liquids. I'll be on clear liquids until the 15th. I had a revision from Lap Band to RNY. Luckily I'd stocked up on tons of various protein options (which are ok on the clear liquid diet) and I've been experiementing with various ones. So far I like the Synthrax Nectar Twisted Cherry and Roadside Lemonade best. However for a full, sweet option, the Chike is excellent.
Anyway I am looking forward to the begainning of December when I can graduate to the puree stage!

I'm only on the 2nd day on puree. Yesterday I had
breakfast- 1 scrambled egg
lunch- egg salad (1 egg)
dinner- tuna salad
snack- split pea soup
I also am having trouble finding a protein powder that I like. I'm waiting for some more sample packs to arrive. The EAS chocolate shakes (110 calories) are my favorite so far. I buy them at BJ's $27 for 24 drinks.

I am on a soft foods diet, and having a real hard time adjusting to this. I am barely eating 3 oz of meat, but I do my best.
I am in love with Taco Bell's Pinto and Cheese. I get a ton of protien from that and I eat Kroger's Carb Smart yogurt.
I eat shrimp and sausage for protien....pretty much I have been told I can eat whatever I like protien wise as long as I can tolerate it.
I was suppose to go for my month check up, but three days running a 103 fever kind of put that on hold until next Thursday, at least that will be my real 1 month.

I was 3 weeks on Friday. I was cruising right along with NO food issues and then .. FI****he horror, the pain, the sure knowledge that death was coming! I had eaten about 1 tablespoon of a broiled Halibut and all of the sudden my stomach clamped down and I was in excruciating pain. It hurt so bad I could barely breathe. I'm still not sure if it was that I ate it too fast or if it was too dry (it was pretty dry).. Ever since that little pleasure I have had to be very careful with Buela, she is now a delicate flower.
