One More Week!!

One week from right now I'll be in the operating room! It's finally hitting me that this is going to happen!! It's been a really long year of waiting. But here we are!
I'm on full liquids as of today. It wasn't required of me, but I'm doing it anyhow because I gained some weight over the past 5 months and my surgeon would be "more comfortable" if I did liquids this week to lose as much as I can before surgery. So, thats fine. I ate a fairly big meal yesterday for my mom's birthday, and felt terrible after 4 days of not eating a whole lot, so that's it for me. I'm done feeling bad because of food. I went to the gym this morning and drank a shake and I feel ok. Best of luck to all of you who are waiting it out this week too. We're almost there!!

 I'm going in for my surgery on Thursday, and it's a little surreal that it is actually happening.  It got delayed several times, and then because of other issues I began wondering if it was ever really gonna happen  But it is!  The count down has begun.    Here's to a safe and quick recovery.

 I'm right there with ya Michelle! I can't believe I'm only 6 1/2 days away. Next Monday about this time I will be in recovery. I am still swirling with emotions! Best of luck to you and hope we both have speedy and as painless as possible recoveries! :)

It's so exciting! We are almost there.  Just a few more days.

Super Excited for y'all!!!  It is the best decision that I have ever made.  I am 3 weeks out and I am practically back normal.  I have been working for almost a week, and I have been walking for exercise.
