Hi All,
I'm still in Atlanta and thought I'd check in.  I've been having a great time with my family.  I've made it to the pool a couple of times so I've gotten my swimming in.  I head back for Easton tomorrow afternoon.  Monday night, I have my sleep study done.  I'm a little nervous about that.  Has anybody had one????

Deb - thank you for setting up this support group.  It comes at a very good time for me as I've just gotten my approval and should get my surgery date this coming week.  I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting many of you at the next meeting.  ~Heather~

I went to a seminar with Dr. Li last night.  I was very impressed with her.  I'm going to go to Dr. Singh's next seminar and then commit to one of them as my doc.  Exciting and scary at the same time.  Dr. Li's assistant said that with my insurance I could have a visit next week, to set up the 3 month required diet plan, have another visit in one month and a 3rd one in the next month.  They would schedule the surgery that day and do the actually surgery 3 weeks later, so if I'm doing the math right, sometime in October.  Phew, fast.

This is new to me so I hope I'm doing it right!!!!!  I've never blogged before  I'm leaving for Atlanta tomorrow morning and will be gone for a week.  I'll be visiting my children and grandbabies.  I will be keeping up with my swimming, though.  I look forward to seeing everybody at next month's meeting.  Counting the days to my Oct 29th surgery date!!!
