Well, I finally have a decent fill, but my weight just keeps bouncing around the same 2 pounds!!

I have one chemo treatment left - on Wednesday.  I'm hoping after I am done with that I will have more energy and can get on my elliptical for more than a couple of minutes at a time.  My treatments were postponed TWICE.  Once for high liver enzymes, once for low WBC counts.  But I think now I am 'normal' and can get this thing finished!

I'm sorry I don't get on here as often as I should.  But I am still workin' on my 10 pounds!

Okay, so I did what I had planned and originally lost 4 pounds then GAINED 2 back.  So today I just gave up and went back to the bad habbits.  I so don't want to get on the scale tomorrow.  I feel like I have to "Diet" again.

:( So discouraged!

Hi again Melva,

I know the number on the scale is a big deal to many, I personally attribute too much to that number myself...But what I hear from you and you see in you is that the workouts are really working - I remember you saying you were back to a steady gym schedule and better fitting clothes is just as good as a lower number on the scale - techinically many of the best looking (bodywise) actors & body builders are actually overweight if you just go by the number on the scale...So keep working towards you goal, and keep up the good work , you are making progress...

Hye Tammy,

The further out and the closer to your goal the harder it is to get those numbers moving down...Great job ...A pound a week is good progress and motivating too...

Hey Melva,

I like that line " I can stick to my plan and reach my goals", its important to have a thought in mind to pull up when you're thinking about drifting off course, It simple but thats the beauty of this kind of thinking...Thanks, I'm going to steal it from you ...

Congratulations!! Slow is good. No is also good keeping that scale steady is even better. I am having the same issue, Have noticed the clothes a lot looser.

Over the weekend I would weigh daily but record only on Monday this way you can monitor what you are eating and if you notice any upward fluctuations in your weight you can manage at that point.

My weight has been the same for 3 weeks, my clothes are looser, and yes I have struggles keeping my eyes on the prize. What I tell my self is I can eat whatever I want and remain the same weight or even gain or I can stick to my plan and reach my goals. Its so important  for me to loose my weight so I will stay with the plan.
