Hi Joanie, I am wondering how you did with your goal. Its not the end of January yet, but i know it has been hard throught the Christmas "EATING" season. I too am trying to get the extra poundage off me. I have gained about 15 pounds since my low of 171. I am so disgusted with myself, but am going to get this back off...come hell or high water....as my grandmother used to say!
My name is Joanie. I had WLS in July of 2004. Over the last two years, I have gone through a divorce and had many upheavals in my life. I have three wonderful children and an amazingly supportive boyfriend. Yet, I have gained about 30 pounds from my low of 179. I have started the 5 day pouch test today and have finished my first day and am quite proud of myself. I would like to loose 10 pounds by Jan 1st. I know that I need support and accountability. So if any one needs those things too, let's get together and do that.
Thank you,
Joanie
Ten is great

I was at 202 when I joined this group(in April) from a low of 187 18 months ago. I had an appointment with my PCP last week and I weighed in at 187.5! I hope to lose 5 more by my 6 year surgiversary in October. I would be so thrilled to be down to 179.5. I have never weighed this much in my adult life; I have been over 200 since I was 10 years old. I was also 5'8" but still.
