Have a great week everyone.

OK,
I'm here, owning up and taking responsibility...Partied way to hard at our annual HOG chapter Valentines party on Saturday night, was down a pound for the week before the Limoncello/jello shooter haze set in, now , up one...I'm not making progress here...Yes, John, I know this is a "in it for the long haul" situation, but still makes me want to smack myself...Just cannot get ahold of that early surgery motivation that made it so easy to push away the bad choices...
Back to cleaning up my act...Have a full week of good meals already planned and shopped for & exercise on the schedule for M,W,&F guarenteed, will try to work in a couple more days too...

I'm coming clean too. I partied way too hard as well. Three of us couples went out to dinner at the nicest restaurant around. (and actually pretty good for little ole Kansas). We started out with mixed drinks and had a few appetizers. Then we started drinking fine French and Italian wines, eating raw oysters, shared main courses of filet mignon and prime rib and then topped it all off with a beautiful piece of cheesecake....wowwww.
Now that I've had surgery, I do have to say that I've found that when I want to drink, I want to JUST drink. I'm not a big fan of eating and drinking at the same time. Even though we did that, the alcohol really did a beautiful job of enhancing the flavor of this fabulous food. I purposely limit myself to drinking about 2 times a month. Christine and I have never spent over $50-60 for a dinner for two in our entire life. The bill came to over $200 for the evening for just the two of us and I would not have traded it for anything. What a memorable evening. I do not need to go to excess like that every week or month, but a nice splurge like that was simply wonderful. Since the other two guys are in law enforcement, I offered to have my oldest kids come to the restaurant to cart us home...what a good example we were...well kinda.
Today I'm back to tuna and cabbage...my weight loss staples.
Think positive...

I'm still here doing the best I can to get back to 219; however, it appears to me that my body is enjoying playing close to 240 at this point. I will admit that I'm not eating the best. My hectic schedule is killing my eating plan. So far I have been eating on the go for the past few weeks. Don't give up hope on me just yet. I'm still exercising my tail off each morning and I found my way back to the gym at least one evening a week. My body is beginning to take on a shape. I was admit the flapping things and hanging breast are beginning to look a little better or it just maybe the other curves are forming drawing attention away from those areas.
