Okay everyone,

If you have lost 10 pounds or 4 ounces for January, you are proud of it, and you don't mind telling everyone (at least our little part of the internet world) then toot that horn and let us know how much you have lost. Just add your total to the thread. Even if you have never check in and been a wallflower up to this point, we encourage your participation. Feel free to add on anytime over the next couple of days. Let's get fired up for another good month in February....go team....go. (been to too many basketball games I guess) 


You are not required to even give your current weight if you choose not to.

Hey John,

Thanks for the reminder,

I started off January 4 at 179 as of today I am at 168 so that is 11 lbs !!!

I went back to basics, protein , no sugar, cut off by carbs and Coke zeros! LOL

My goal is to get to 135 or so.

I have been struggling still.  I finally got a partial fill on Friday and things should be moving in the right direction.

It sounds like you have a lot going on in your life right now. Two pounds with all of that going on is a very good accomplishment.

Hey Everybody,

I joined this group on Jan 26, wt was 230# weighted myself this morning was 228#. Feels good to know I am on track for making this work. I will report in February my actual weight loss, I am fired up and I will make this happen.

So I will say my cumulative total for now : 2#

Great Melva,

As they used to say in my old Weigh****chers class....that is 8 sticks of butter gone. Two pounds along with a solid effort is a great way to start the year....keep up the great work.

With your two pounds the running grand total for January 2010: 18.8 pounds

Nice job Melissa. With your 4 pounds lost that brings our cumulative total up to 22.8 and almost half way to the 50 pound mark. I know that you are the kind of person who sets your sights on the mark and goes after it. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with the progress of our little group as we march into 2010.

Thanks for the call to arms John,  you are doing fantastic ...My own progress is less than stellar, still struggling to really get myself on course...With this morning's weigh-in, I have set the course of recommitment...January finds me down 2 lbs from the start of the month, not as much as I had hoped for, but in all honesty have not been giving the effort all that I could...Have my eye on the goal, if I can just keep up the downward trend I will make it...Its a long haul to December, the goal is to get to clean living and eating and then stay there...
