Drop 10 for 10 Challenge (10410)
Just joined this group
Hi, everyone, I am happy to find ths group. I had rny in july 06, and lost 113 lbs. in one year. I kept it off for the first year, even though I thought my weight was a little too low.I had never been that thin at 150 and 5"5, i was ok with it. Then gained about 10 lbs and was reaaly happy there, size 10 , having fun, loving life. Well, now 3 1/2 yrs out I am up 35 lbs. That is waaaaay more then a 10% bounceback. This week I went and joined weigh****chers to lose 20 lbs. I need to be held accountable in order to get back on track. My biggest fear at this point is to go over 200 (at 185 now) and I have to get it back under control, so that's my story and again, I am happy to find thid forum
good morning welcome to this site i am also 3 years out i have gained 15lbs but as of 1/1/10 i have been exercising and logging my food on this site and it has helped but i was also thinking about joining weigh****chers but i am gonna give this a try i know what i have to do and just do it but please let me know how you make out and good luck ww is a great group.
Welcome. I had my RNY in '05 and at my last check up had gained 20 lbs. That is just too much for me--and I could tell in my clothes. I know how important accountability is.
I also will be interested in hearing your thoughts about WW. I'm looking to move and the town doesn't have a bariatric support group. Mine here meets twice a week and I benefit from that. I was thinking about using WW or OA.
The great thing is that with wls, now we just have to diet like everyone else:)
