So today I got on the scale as I usually do. Today was anything but usual, however. Today, for the first time since surgery, I weigh LESS THAN 300 POUNDS!!!
I almost cried, I was so happy. I can't remember the last time I weighed less than 300#.

I am new to this group but very excited to share triumphs! Congratulations on meeting your first goal!
The Ulcer is the only thing that is giving me issues right now. Just feel icky to my pouch most of the time. But the rest of me feels pretty damn good This is the first time I have weighed under 300lbs in 7 years...
I am so happy to hear your doing well. You are now on the road to recovery. Im glad nothing worse was wrong. That is amazing that you are almost to your first goal. Keep it up you are doing great.

I had the fullness for a few days. My Dr said it was acid reflux and said to continue the PPI. I actually bought OTC pepcid because it was chew-able. Also remember you just had surgery so you are still swollen and everything is not where it should be.Depending on how tight your dr sewed your stomach you may need to be easier until the swelling goes away.
I didn't have a hard time sleeping. But I too got up several times to drink. Its a good thing that your body wants the fluids. When I slept I slept on my side. Lots of pillows and one under my tummy for support. It was best if I laid on my right side. I felt there was more support on that side. It was like being pregnant again. I am not usually a back sleeper so I felt like I couldn't breathe. I can say to use a lot of pillows comforters and whatever you can to prop you up. Good luck!!!

I am half tempted to give myself a bag of IV fluids every day lol (I would never do this). It would be easier than to remember to drink. AND if I could only have mcdonalds sweet tea I could easily do 100oz daily lol. I am getting better. I am doing 32oz in the am and 32oz in the pm. I will try fo were so r more. Thanks for the advise. I am an instant gratification person. I want results I can see NOW....I am very impatient. I guess this is a flaw I have to work on.
I will say that I left my former job Oct 3rd. I had not put my old scrubs on since. Yesterday I pulled them out and put them on. OMG they hung on me. I couldn't keep from staring at the way they looked. Before I looked pregnant and they were tight. Now I can grab from all sides. I agree about the sizes. I was 26/28 but they were big. I still have 24 that were so tight. I can wear them now. But I think I am fixed on the #. Thanks for being there now on to drinking fluids.
