Hey guys! I had my surgery on 12/4 and I'm doing great! The most painful day way the day after surgery but my surgeon was very generous with pain meds. By third day, I was only needing the strong stuff before bed at night. Tylenol was helping, so I could be up and walking. I mostly have concentrated on staying hydrated, but today I've made a point to get at least 3 shakes in. I'm 1/4 way through the 3rd one right now. I feel really good. I am soooo ready to get rid of this drain. It makes my side more sore than the rest of me. I'll get it out Wednesday. YEA!!!!! Also, I'm anxious to see if I've lost any more when I go in. My scale here is broken. Anyway, I just wanted to update. Good luck with all the upcoming surgeries. You got this!!!
Your surgery is tomorrow, yayy! *kermitflail* I hope everything goes great for you. Good luck, and best wishes for a smooth recovery!

I think some nerves are to be expected. Focus on the end result, and how hard you worked to get this far.
Please let us know how you are doing as soon as you feel up to it!

Shannon, this may be too late for you to see before you go in for your surgery tomorrow morning, but I hope everything goes great and that you're on the mend soon!
