Good Luck Everyone! I wish I could count myself among you. I finally got my surgery date and it's not until January 30th!!!!!! I know i technically no longer fit the group demographic but I'm going to consider all of you my coach and mentors and I'll be part of your cheering squad. Take care this week. - Lina
I'm so excited for you Karen - Good Luck on Tuesday. There's nothing you can do to set their fears about the surgery aside except to continue to emphasize that you will be all the more healthy for it afterwards. You certainly have the right attitude - All my well wishes and prayers go out to you for a safe and speedy recovery. Keep in touch -- Lina
I'm so happy everything went well for you and thanks for the tip to all of us. Be well - Lina

I had read that WLS patients get colder easier than others. And not to worry, you won't be a fat girl for long. We are all leaving those days behind us.

That's awesome! Someone bought me some pj pants while I was in the hospital, size L. I thought oh, it'll be a while before I can wear them, I've been XL or XXL. Wearing them right now and they fit!!!!
So glad to hear from you Tiffanie. I'm happy that all went well for you and that you are feeling good. D-Day is Tuesday for me. I'm excited, but my 89 year old mother and one of my kids are wound pretty tightly about this.

You will see that each day gets better. The more you walk the better you feel. Dont over do it, rest when your body tells you too. Keep up the good work.
