I love the word losingly. I think it should be in the urban dictionary lol. You know I would have normally freaked out but I have read so many times that you gain first then lose, So I was not too worried. I cant wait to eat purees next week. I am following the Drs instructions though I feel I could do a little bit more.

It feels so good to watch the scale go down instead of up. Where were your staples at? I cant wait to hear how much you have lost this week.

When did you startle sling well enough to exercise?? I'm still pretty sore, but I just surgery on Friday. Not sure if that's considered 3 or 4 days post-op. are you still sore at all??
Have we still not heard from Dottie? That's kind of worrisome.

That's great news! It made me think a bit about what to do with close I "shrink out of", lol...I ended up getting a cardboard box and labeled it "Clothes to donate" and put it in my closet. Every time I try something on that's too large, I'll drop it in the box. Once it's full, I'll run it over to the women's shelter or Goodwill or something.
Thanks for the inspiration!

I'm so glad to hear that the Bell's won't keep you from your surgery. Very best wishes to you, trying to recuperate from surgery and Bell's at the same time will be challenging indeed! You can do it, though! Just come back here for a little extra support and inspiration whenever you need it.

Nice going, Shannon! I'm glad to see how well things are going for you. Good on you for not freaking out at the initial bump up in weight from the hospital, and I hope things continue to go smoothly and losingly (yes, it's a word I just made up!) for you!

Sounds like you're doing great!!! I'm almost 2 weeks out. I go back to get my staples out Wed and will get weighed. As of last week I am down 16.8 pounds.
I am 1 week post op today. It is amazing how time flies. My weight at 2 weeks prior was 268. The day I had my surgery I weighed 253. When I left to come home from the hospital I weighed 263. I knew this was to be expected. I weighed today and it says 250.8. wahoo either way you look at it it is 18 pounds from when I started. I am amazed and happy. I feel great and am going to start exercising today. Cant wait to hear all your updates.
