Merry Christmas to you too!!!  I appreciate your encouragement as well.  When the rest of the world know nothing about what we are going through & feeling, we have one another.  It provides a great deal of comfort!!!

2014 is gonna be a good one!!!

Ooooo, that sounds good.  And it qualifies as a "blenderized" food for me!  I will try that soon.

I wanted to extend warm wishes to all my fellow December surgery buddies. We have all been through a lot this past few months and as we look toward 2014 can see great things to come. I appreciate your friendship and encouragement. This time next year we will all be posting our 1 year surgiversary pictures. Merry Christmas and a blessed new year.

Dont forget it. Its part of your amazing journey. Yes take pictures because years from now when your tummy is all skinny you will forget what a monster it was. I liked my incisions it made me feel like I really did this. As they healed I knew my sleeve was healing as well.

Merry Christmas!!!

I had tapioca a few days ago and yummm it was so good. I agree I am so tired of liquids too. I dont like cottage cheese but know its good for me. So I read a post that has you take cottage cheese and ricotta cheese and warm it in the microwave. Add a little salt and pepper and garlic. Put tomato sauce with it. Its like the inside of a manicotti. I may try this today. How are you feeling?

Karen, Also remember that I had the gastric sleeve and not the RNY so my surgery tends to heal faster. Take all the time you need because soon enough you will be back to exercising and chores. Maybe the surgery and loosing weight will help your chronic fatigue. Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas. What a wonderful present to give yourself tomorrow. Anxiety is normal and it will all happen so fast tomorrow you wont have time to be nervous. I had my gall bladder out 13 years ago. I feel that that surgery was worse than this one. If you had 3 natural child births you will be fine. You have a high threshold for pain....I will be praying for you. We will be 2 weeks apart on this journey!!!!

My stomach is a mess too.  On top of that, I have a random surgical marking pen line across my right arm.

Go ahead - take a picture.  You'll be healed and the bruises gone soon enough!
