11 days post op-  8 lbs down.  He said he is very happy that I am healing so well, Dr Yemenula is very sweet.  Still not released to start back to the gym though, he said I should wait the 4 weeks.  frown  Hope everyone is feeling well, wishing you a wonderful healthy day!

Excellent news! Grats on the loss, but most especially I'm glad to hear you're doing so well. You'll be back in the gym before you know it; in the meantime I'm sure you've been cleared to walk all you like, so that's something.

Stay warm, and keep us posted!

Thanks, how are you doing?  I hope all is wellwink I do enjoy the walking like you said, it is better than nothing.  When I go to the gym it's not like I do anything big, I like the elliptical. I think I am just getting bored at home, I work full time and normally am out and about...but that time will come.

WooHoo!!  Congrats on the great loss! So excited for you.

I too went to the doctor today for my 1 week follow up. I got my staples out :) and I get to move to the pureed stage. To top it off, I've lost 11 pounds since surgery! Isn't it incredible how great we are feeling and doing? We are blessed!

:)

11 pounds ...Way to go!! What are the staples about?   I know what you say about feeling good, I went to work to see everyone, they thought I had not had the surgery yet, I showed them the 5 incisions for the laprascope (sorry about the spelling) and they were surprised I was up and around.  What a blessing in deed!!

I had staples in several of my incisions. I have 7 of them total, and 4 of them still had staples in.

Isn't it so crazy how we all had the same procedure in theory, but done so differently?

yeah, I had not heard about staples before.  It is odd how it differs.  I hope you are healing well!

Thats awesome. You are doing great. Even though you cant go to the gym try to walk 30 min everyday. That will build up your endurance for when you can, Keep up the good work.
