Nesting

Today I have done more today in one day than I think I have done in the last month. I really felt like I was nesting (like before us mommys had our babies); has anybody else experienced that feeling a few days prior to surgery? Just curious if I am the odd ball here or is this is perfectly normal.

You are completely normal! I did the same thing...made lots of food to freeze...made sure everything was clean, ran all sorts of errands. I think it was the fear of the unknown- will I be home for sure in 3 days?, Will I have restrictions once I'm home? that sort of thing. 

I also find that the time goes by much faster if I keep busy.

Thats a great point never thought of that!

I think it is normal...some of us clean, clean, clean when we get anxiety or stress.  I did the same thing...acted like I may not be back forever, came home day after surgery.  Feels good to have it out of the way so all those loose ends aren't out there for you when you come home, then you can just relax and heal.
