Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for your prayers, encouragement and advice. I was released from the hospital today as planned. No complications or issues. My biggest challenge is this darn gas. It sure doesn't want to come out. :)

I'm really tired, but have already 38 ounces of H2O in  I'm not thirsty but making it go down.

Hope you all had a great New Years Eve.

Glad to see you are home where you can rest!  I had my rny on 12/26 and didn't start moving the gas out until I was out and taking my walks.  Blew up the neighborhood, lol.  Just rest for now.  The gas will pass!

Welcome home!!  Keep up the good work on the fluids, and try to get your protein in too.

Never fear, the gas will pass.  mail

Welcome home KC. I am sure by now you are getting settled in and getting into a routine. The more you walk the better it is for the gas. Just make sure you are alone.....lol. everyone will hear you. I am used to chugging water so its hard for me  to drink slowly. Good luch and welcome home.
