My wedding and engagement rings fit again!  I took them off well over a year ago, while I could still get them off (barely).  Mind you, I'm not quite 2 weeks out, and have only lost 10 lbs from my pre-surgery weight.  However, from August until December 17th I lost 60 lbs.  I'll take it however I can get it!

Karen, that's excellent! Grats!

I'm curious, have you noticed any improvement in your GERD yet?

I haven't had any heartburn since surgery, but I'm still on Prilosec twice a day.

Mine was a quiet GERD.  I didn't have pain that often, but the damage was being none anyway.

How about you?

At the moment, if anything, it's a little worse to be honest. I think that's only really because they stopped the Protonix I was on while I was in the hospital, and now I'm playing catch up. I get a lot of reflux if I lie flat, and I'm having a lot of burping. Hopefully it will all resolve shortly, though.

I'm sorry.  I hope you feel better soon.

I got a bed wedge to sleep with my head elevated, and I think that helps too,

That's very exciting. For Christmas I told my family and friends to get any gifts (clothes) for me too small and I am looking forward to be able to get into them. It's the small victories that matter! Congrats again!
