update home from surgery
I am glad you are doing well. I had my rny on Monday as well. I came home from the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and feel good. I must have had an easier time of it than some because I am already weaning off my pain meds and I am up and around quite a bit. I even went to the store today with a friend. It was a short trip, but still, I felt good enough to go out. I got 64 ounces of fluids in today have not had a single bit if trouble other than being a little tired and sore. So good so for. I hope the trend continues.
Glad your doing well. I agree the first 24 hours are rough. Its like your body is revolting against you for putting it through the surgery. I am almost 2 weeks out and have no pain and can go out places. I even worked 7 hours yesterday. Fluids are the worst. I am not a fluid drinker. I dont like to drink but I make myself. Another poster said they set a timer because they want to get the fluids in. I have started this as well. I dont want to end up in the ER with renal failure. Keep us updated on how your doing.
