I just wanted you to know my prayers are with you tomorrow. May you have an easy surgery with no complications and a fast recovery. I will be thinking about you tomorrow. How exciting it must be to know this time tomorrow you will be on your way to the new you!!!!!!

Hello Shannon and everyone,

My surgery was on Monday morning and everything seemed to go smoothly.  The staff at the hospital was wonderful.  I was taken back to the surgerical room basically on time.  My surgeon stated that the surgery went well.  I am able to keep down fluids, but having a small issue with gas pains.  I was able to go home Tuesday morning.  Later Tuesday afternoon I started having problems with keeping the pain under control.  I spoke to my surgeons office today and they up'ed the dose of my pain pills and presribed some lidocaine patches.  I'm not able to get around as easily as I'd like to.  Thank you all for your support and concern.  And good luck to everyone else that's having their surgery this week.

I am glad to hear that the surgery went well. Im sorry that your going through the gas pains, they can be rough. Keep strong this is only a small hiccup to your recovery. Soon you will be over the pain. Your in my thoughts and prayers
