Happy Thsnksgiving!

Wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday, to all the preops that have a liquid diet hang in there what we are doing will be so worth it! I'm very thankfull this year to be getting my surgury done and for meeting such a wonderfull support network !! Looking forward to december and wish us all good luck!

I guess it is a little late to say happy thanksgiving but I can report that I had a great thanksgiving.  Spent it with family and enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving dinner.  My sympathy to all those on a pre-surgery liquid diet.  Ii will miss all the Christmas festivities with my family this year due to my surgery so I especially treasured today.  Hope all your thanksgivings went equally well.

I was one of those pre op diet people. I just kept telling myself this is temp. Next year I will enjoy some of the good food in smaller quantities. And I will be smaller than a few family members... It wasnt hard.....well maybe the mashed potatoes and stuffing called me alot. But I didnt give in.

I was a liquid diet as well. I survived going to my family's house on Thursday and only having my optifast. I then had my dad in from out of town and cooked a dinner on friday and was just as successful. I didn't have anything but my optifast. I am ten days away from surgery and now feel even more ready and sure I will be able to do this!
