Couch to 5k

Hello...just found this group!! I am going into my 11 th week post-op and have always wanted to be a runner. I know of others (not WLSers) who have done Couch to 5K and they loved it! What weight did you all start off at? I am almost 60 pounds down close to 280 and might start at 270 doing the program. I love walking so much more since WLS and I feel like I need even more. So I read all about Couch to 5K and I am in.

Warm up 5mins walking. Run for 1.5 min then walk for 2 min do this 6 times them cool down for 5 minutes. I am prolly going to repeat this week because I can barely make it the whole 1.5 minutes of running.
Warm up 5 mins then run 1.5 mins then walk for 2 four times then run for 1 then walk for 1 two times then 5 min cool down. Did this today and I made it even though I doubted myself lol. I was sure breathing loud in the gym.
I am so proud of you. Keep it up!!
I have to wait for clearance - tendonitis in my knee. Hopefully I will be keeping up with you in a week or two. :-)

I did it today. Felt good to be doing something. I can tell I am going to be sore.
5 minute warm up run one minute and walk 1 and a half eight times with 5 minutes cool down.
Week one day one is warm up 5 minutes then run one minute then walk one and a half minute and do that six times then 5 minute cool down.
Thanks everyone for joining. I feel like this is going to be awesome. I have always wanted to be a runner and I feel like this will be a great start.
