A Favorite Story About Attitude

Here is a story a friend sent to me a few years back. I don't know the author but I believe it could very well be the right story at the right time for all of us. Enjoy!

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three strands of hair on her head.

She said, "I think I'll braid my hair today."

So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two strands of hair on her head.

"H-M-M," she mused, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today."

So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one strand of hair on her head.

"Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail."

So she did and she had a fun-filled day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.

"YEA!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Today I went Kayaking for the first time.   You would think it would be with someone I knew for a long time.  Or with someone who was a long time kayakeri,

No it was with 2 CCCares members. One who purchaed a new kayak on a whim because she could now fit into it. ,  All three of us never kayaked in our life.  These are women I never would have met if were not for a WLS support group.

So for those who long to start a new life   The formular is simple.    Attend a meeting or pick up the phone.   You will find more in common with other members then you think

There is nothing better then sharing WOW moments with someone who truly understands the elation.

Happy Memorial Day      Mine was memorable    Hope yours is too.
